As a Senior Site Engineer in the oil and gas industry, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing on-site engineering activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise on-site engineering activities, including construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, to facilitate seamless project execution.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve engineering challenges and optimize project outcomes.
• Prepare and review engineering documentation, such as drawings, reports, schedules, and work procedures.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Manage project resources effectively, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Support project procurement activities by assisting in vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field). Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience (6+ years) in a similar role within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on site engineering
• In-depth knowledge of oil and gas industry practices, processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project).
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
